I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected to create large scale, site specific paintings for Sapphire Creek Winery and Gardens, @sapphirecreekwinery. I would like to thank Kathleen Dangelo for this wonderful opportunity. “Sapphire Creek Winery was designed and constructed to offer the finest in architectural design, wine, food and gardens. The finest in art is a natural addition. We are so excited to announce our collaboration with renowned artist Lainard Bush who will be painting four custom pieces that will grace our Brix Tasting Room.” To see and learn more about the event center, visit their website: http://sapphire-creek.com. I will be sharing videos and images of the process of creating these paintings on my social media platforms and in the studio section of my website. The event center is nearing completion, stay tuned for updates and an announcement of the date for the opening reception.
This month I participated in an alumni exhibition at the San Fransisco Art Institute in November. It was held in the Diego Rivera Gallery named after the legendary muralist who has a historic mural featured on the prominent wall of the gallery.
Coming shortly on October 19th-22nd I will be exhibiting in New York at the Clio Art Fair. I will be exhibiting two of my major works, Cibola and Kicking out the Jams. I am very excited to be participating in this event as it is my first art fair in New York.
